Nowadays many ( IT ) projects do not fulfill their desired result. This is caused by erroneous planning, lack
of knowledge of the underlying processes and lack of time even with build in buffers and spare time. It
should be possible to use these buffers in a better way i one knows how.
We describe your processes and try to solve existing bottlenecks working with the
Theory Of Constrains (TOC) by mr Goldratt.
In this process we include the link to existing software solutions and match them against your
processes.
Some included analysis:
- Conception analysis
- Process analysis
- Object analysis
- Database analysis
Describing processes
Some people think process description is not necessary because they don't use any.
Well, ever thought about getting a Cup of Coffee from a simple Coffee Machine like the ones you
find in Offices and Hospitals?
Follow the link to A cup of coffee
Documentation
to find out how to write this down in a process description. Click on "Show all Diagrams" to get a list of
the existing Diagrams. then Click on "Getting a cup of Coffee" to show the main process.
For this description I used a evaluation copy of the tool "Business Process Visual ARCHITECT 1.1
Modeler Edition" from Visual
Paradigm describing the process in Business Process Modeling Notation or
BPMN.
Look for more details about BPMN at the pages on the OMG
site
